From US, just started dental school in Czech Republic. Advice?

Hey everyone, I'm from the US and I've started studying at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. I was wondering if anyone could advise me what I should focus on for my application for applying back to the US? Does it make a difference if one is a US citizen when applying to come back for the 2 yr program?
