General GPA/MCAT Trends

Hi, I'm new to the osteopathy forum

Can you guys tell me what is the general gpa requirement and mcat requirement that gets a student in a school of osteopathy?

hey,
well the avg. mcat is id say 26 and it acceptees mcats have ranged from 21-30's. gpa is on the whole slightly below allopathic average. it can also range by a lot as well. i dsay average is 3.4/3.5? adcom's are more forgiving than the allopathic adcom's bc they will take into more consideration your experiences- clinical and non, as well as where you went to undergrad and/or post-grad.

MCAT 26 average (19-35 range)
GPA 3.47 average (2.53 - 3.96 range)
