hi, i remember u.s. general surgeon (or it may be under different title) is a DO. does anyone know his name? i think he is a cardiothoracic surgeon.

Ronald Blanck, DO (or is it Robert?).

But I don't think he's actually a surgeon, despite his title of "Surgeon General of the US Army."

Lt General Robert Blanck did his residency in IM at Walter Reed, if this is indeed the "general surgeon" (Surgeon General of the US Army) of which the original poster is speaking.
