Getting Ready to Study

Hi everyone!

I'm planning to take the MCAT January/ February of this coming year. I have two questions:

First, is there an official schedule for the 2016-2017 testing dates out yet? I've been looking but haven't been able to find one.

Secondly (and more importantly), I just took a practice test to give myself a baseline of where I'm starting from. I got a 504 without doing any studying or prep - do you all think that's a good place to be starting from?

AAMC usually announces test dates towards the end of the previous year.

A 504 is a great place to start!
