I plan on using calculus for life sciences to fulfill the math requirements. Should I still bother retaking this class? It was a serious pain in the ass to work with. It will ruin my summer brea

As much as it pains me to tell you this... you should retake it in my opinion. Even though you may only need Calculus I (assuming this is what you mean by "calculus"), it looks very bad that you got a D at all... not only does it drag down your GPA, but it shows a potential lack of ability when classes get rough, and pharmacy classes are a lot tougher than Calculus 2. My thoughts...
 
Don't bother if its not a requirement for the school you're applying to, which in most cases, its not.
