Grades In Freshman Year

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could answer my question which is...

I had recieved a C in freshman orientation, Pre-Calculus, Geography (social sciences class) in my freshman year...by GPA fell from 4.5 to 3.96 on a scale of 5.0

Now I am a sophomore getting 4.72, 4.87, 4.9 out of 5.0

Would getting those disgusting C's in the freshman year affect my acceptance at med schools. I desire to go to Pritzker U OF C

just continue the upward GPA trend and those early classes will not be an important negative factor in your application

why does your school have a 0>5 scale?
mine has a 0>4 and i got 2.6 my 1st semester ..the good members of the site assured me my upward trend (im almost at 3.45 now) wont go unrecognized.
im sure the same applies to you..
