I'm thinking of doing some GME in England (specifically London) after finishing residency here in the States.

I'm a US citizen, schooled in the US, residency in the US.

Does anyone know what requirements I would have to do a 6-month "fellowship" in London (related to my field -- EM/EMS). Any special visa requirements, sponsorships, etc.?

Thanks!

This website should be very helpful:
www.doh.gov.uk/medicaltrainingintheuk

Whilst there, look for a PDF called : "Medical Training in the United Kingdom: A guide for international graduates". Its about 30 pages and details all the necessary steps.

Good luck.
