okay i always thought the graph for two things that were inversely related would be a straight line, where as Y decreases, X increases.
but according to the EK math book, its not, its actually y=1/x^n. i thought this would only be the case for something like Fgrav related to r^2.
so is it true that Fgrav and r^2 graph would look the same as frequency plotted against wavelength? or mass plotted against acceleration?
