Guard active time for school?

I can't remember where but I though someone had mentioned that a CO could grant active (2wks annual) time for class during medical school.....anyone know much about this? My CO would probably be ok with it, but I'd like some clarification so I don't look like an idiot asking for imaginary stuff.

Never heard of anything like this specifically.

I know in some of the looser states, students have managed to get their 2 weeks AT to be SUTA'd to home station for study. This might accomplish the same thing.
