This patient clearly has a right epidural hematoma as pointed by the (leftmost) arrow. The middle arrow is pointing to a mass effect of the right ventricle. The arrow on the right is pointing to a very hypodense region and I am having difficulty saying for sure what it is.
It appears just as dark as the CSF fluid (maybe edema) or it can be a region where there is cell death however I am being told it is a subdural hematoma. I thought a subdural hematoma would appear hypodense greyish and not nearly as black as on this image. Can you please explain if you know what it is?
