Help me shorten my school list ! (Re-applicant )

Hi! I am a re-applicant and NY resident. I applied last year to 9 schools and was waitlisted at two schools.
Stats: Biology Major Graduate
GPA: 3.3/ sGPA:3.1
DAT 1: AA 19 TS 21
DAT 2: AA 18 TS 19
I am also planning to retake my DAT in November.
-approx. 200 shadowing hours
-1000 volunteering hours
-work experience in the dental field

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine (LECOM-FL) FL

Seems like a good list, though if I had to remove any of them it would be Marquette since WI and IL residents make up over 75% of their class.
 
Thank you so much for your advice! I had no clue because I bought the ADEA and they said they 50% instate enrolled and no preference given to residents so I thought I have a chance.

Remove Creighton. They avg opga/sgpa is like a 3.6.

But i think you really hurt your chances this year. Not only are you applying late with low stats, but your dat decreases. That will definitely hurt your application.

Do you have some sort of connection to University of Maryland? It is a difficult school to get into, especially if you are outside of the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. Unless you were waitlisted there last year or crush your DATs I would cross them off of my list.

No I don't have a connection unfortunately. I wasn't wait listed there last year and I didn't apply there. I'm hoping to kill my third DAT!

In your waitlists from last year, did you have interviews?
 
NY resident but no stonybrook? You havent taken biochem yet?

Ah I see. There's always someone who has below their averages that do get in. But is it worth 190$ to win the lottery? I mean you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. But I fully understand why you didn't have them on your list. However if money is not an issue I would suggest giving it a shot.

I did last year, but I am already too late in the cycle! I am retaking the exam in November, maybe if I do really well I'll apply! Thank you for your advice!

What schools did you get waitlisted to last cycle? Any reason why the other schools were not interested?

Least you had interviews there. I didn't get anything from NYU 3 times so I took them off my list this year.
