I am down to waiting for just 1 letter, and everything else is ready for my app.
I have a list of schools, but I think I might have too many schools on the list.

I would like your 2 cents on the schools that can be removed or any additional schools that I should try and apply.

I am a non-traditional student with
3.4oGPA
3.3sGPA
24AA 24TS 17PAT.

My state school is Virginia Commonwealth University

Here's what I have on my list now.

Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona (MWU)

University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry (USC)

University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP)

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine (LECOM-FL)

Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (NSU)

Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BU)

Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUF)

University of Maryland School of Dentistry (MYD)

University of Michigan School of Dentistry (MICH)

Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CUL)

New York University College of Dentistry (NYU)

University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (BUF)

Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine (CASE)

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (OSU)

The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University (TEMP)

University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (PENN)

University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (PITT)

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry (VCU)

West Virginia University School of Dentistry (WVA)

Uncertain schools

Univesity of louisville ? (120 seats, 42 instate, 70 OOS)
University of Missouri? (42 seats, 9 instate, 33OOS)
Marquette (100 seats, 50 instate, 49 OOS)??

Ohio state university - (110 seats, 95 instate, 15OOS) - seems pretty much in-state friendly. Should I remove from my list?

I know in California and Nevada that you can try to get residency there after one year. So you could pay out of state for one year and then pay in state for the rest. Might want to double check that for the dental programs. I think schools that are OOS friendly should be added. My school list is only public state universities since it's cheaper than private. For me, I do not plan to apply to any private schools

Yeah I also heard that some schools let you get instate tuition after 1st year. I know UMD does that as well. My top choice would be VCU, then UMD (and get instate tuition after first year)

I might be adding private schools because they have good out of state acceptance rates lol. Good luck to you! :)

Anyone?

any school that's far out of my reach because of mediocre/below avg GPA?
