hey all,
PLEASE TAKE TIME AND HELP ME OUT.....
i'm getting ready for my USMLE PART 1. i need to know what
is the best material around for me to do really well on the test. i'm
an international medical graduate. so i'm done with medical school.I'M
AFRAID THAT I MIGHT NOT HAVE THE STEP 1 FACTS FRESH IN MY MIND AND KEEPING
THAT IN MIND NEED ADVISE.....
i've been told about the kaplan study material but what i need is
information on the books, software etc that i have to have and also
where can i get it for cheap.can you help me out with a list of the
best books/materials i will need?
also how much of studying will i need to put in on a dialy basis for how
many months etc? as i've been out of medical school the step 1 subjects are
not so fresh in my memory anymore so keeping that in mind how do i need to
make a study plan and please any advise on books etc?.i need to go over all my basics so just review books dont work for me. i am plannign on getting First Aid, microbiology made ridiculously simple, high yeild books for anat,neuro-anat,immunology,embryology. lipincott's for pharmacology and biochemistry. what books do i need for physiology? later i plan to review with BRS for path and physio.also how useful is it if i invest in buying the Web Path CD? will 6 motnhs be enough to do all this.
if there is anyone who has already given or is preparing for the usmle
and faced a similar situation i would really value your advise.

have a great day.
thanks ,Arie
