HELP PLEASE!!! (regarding electives)

Hi,

I am 5th year med student (total 6 years) in Romania and will start my 6th year in October 2013. I have applied for an elective (family medicine) for my summer break. I applied through romp and one of the condition is finding your own preceptor. Any tips on how to find a preceptor in Ontario specially in the Niagara or Hamilton Halton region any tips/help will be greatly appreciated

Start with the elective office and ask for recommendations. Then try the alumni office at your home medical school. Finally, search the CPSO physician directory and start cold calling.
