 What is a good Qbank score before safely taking step 1? I don't think I'll ever feel completely ready to take the test, but for those of you who did pass what was your qbank score before you took step 1?

I think 70% is considered pretty solid, most people who have been in that range have had good scores. There is a huge thread out there somewhere where people list their scores.

Good luck!

Wouldnt put too much faith in qbank as a predictor as some use it to self assess, others use it as a learning tool. You are better off to use the nbme exams as a guide, although they are not cheap I honestly believe they are an indespensible part of USMLE preparation. But as the previous poster said, anything over 70% in qbank is pretty solid

For what its worth, the learning specialist at my school said that 55-60% on Qbank is a good indicator of passing.

That sucks; however, don't be too jealous over our learning specialist. I hear she doesn't do a whole lot.
