I'm a recruiter with an executive firm out of Florida. I've been working on a project for a LONG time now. We have tried all avenues of approach to get the job done, so I decided to try something new (online forums!).
The job is a Medical Director of Hemophilia (or general Hematology/Oncology) for a very successful Pharmaceutical Company (can't name it yet). It is out in Westlake Village, California, a small community right outside of Malibu (5 miles away), and Thousand Oaks (1 mile away). The company is seeking candidates nation wide, and are offering a 100% relocation package.
This is what they sent me of what they want (close to it is good enough as well):
1) Must be an MD with at least 3 years of active medical AND academic practice in hemophilia (preferred) and hemotology.
2) 3-5 years relevant experience (hemo) in pharma/biopharma industry will look good
3) 30-40% traveling
4) be able to talk to people! you will be constantly communicating with this industries leaders
These guys are desperate, and will work with you if experiences fall SLIGHTLY short.
Compensation is amazing (this will be the teaser I have to leave so you will contact me!), and you will also get up to $50k as a sign on bonus.
