I came across this search engine that takes the data for cost of services, compiled by Medicare, and allows one to see a clean breakdown of costs in your local area...i found some of the differences in pricing extremely interesting. Take a look for yourself and let me know if you think it is valuable

would be useful, but there isnt enough data. If you search for San Fransisco, it compares with hospitals in Missouri, Texas, and Washington. a 2000 mile radius of hospitals isnt a comparable pool for local areas.
