How hard is dental school

Well i have given in my deposit for TUFTS ... but I am getting kind of worried as I have heard from people that TUFTS wroks you to death and that we have to come in on weekends to work in labs....So I didn't expect it would be a walk in the park.... So in general how hard to you guys think dental school would be for a person who is an average student in his/her undergrad..
