I know medical school isn't exactly like college, but does anyone know how many "credits" are in a standard curriculum? I cannot find this information anywhere, and assume it varies between schools. My scholarship will pay a certain amount per credit for doctorate degrees, so I am trying to gauge how much this will be.

I think mine is about 30 credits this semester.

Usually if you look at each school's curriculum page, it will divide each semester down to the credit hours. Most seem to be anywhere between 18-28 hours. However, some schools introduce different classes throughout M1/M2 year and can stretch through the semester. For example, one medical school will start M1 year off with 2-3 classes on basic pre-clinical classes and slowly add more in (up to 4 classes at a time) as the year progresses. Those classes are usually path/phys of different systems.

My state school does 4 classes at 22-24 hours at a time. Some classes are 6-10 credit hours, some 3-4, and some 0-1.
