How much manual dexterity is needed to become an efficient gastroenterologist?

During my 3rd year im rotation, i observed a few endoscopies and colonoscopies. And from this observation, it seemed as if a good deal of manual dexterity was needed to become an efficient gastroenterologist. Would any GI fellows/attendings agree or disagree with this observation or have any thoughts?
