Hi all,

I'm currently a Junior with a 3.3 GPA looking to go to grad school for either a PhD, Sc.D, or MS in public health, or an MPH.

Right now I'm very interested in Yale School of Public Health-- I visited a friend there the other day and had a very good time and thought the facilities/research/etc. were right up my alley. Anyhue, I was wondering how selective they are for their Pub Health PhD and MPH programs.

Thanks!

Drew

8 years later, and just discovered this post while going through my "Activity" history. For posterity:
  • I got in for an MPH! Turns out, it's one of the most selective programs in the country, but I somehow slid through the rigorous process undetected!
  • I ended up turning down some other good schools to go, because $$$. $$$ is important.
  • It was AMAZING, and I'd recommend it to anyone!
  • Berkeley (where I'm doing my PhD) is also awesome.
Hooray for retrospect! Good luck to everyone who applies going forward =).

This is so cool. Happy to see that everything worked out for you! How helpful was Yale in the financial aid department?
