How to approach setting up affiliate rotation sites?

So my school allows us to rotate at almost any hospital in the country given that we have to personally be the mediator to approach the hospital and ask them to train us.

I have absolutely no idea how to even start this. I have 2 months this summer (June-August) to find, talk to, and basically get a hospital to agree to train me for 2 years. My timeline is pretty limited because I go to school across the country and I'd like to set up rotations at home.

My question is, how do I even begin this process?
Who do I talk to at the hospital? Who has the power to set this up?
What do I say to them? How do I best present my case to get them to want to train me? What is the hospitals incentive to take me?

Use VSAS (Visiting School Application Service).

There should be "home" rotations that you can choose from before doing rotations at "away" programs.
