I graduated this past May. I had an interview about 2 weeks ago with a hospital for a staff pharmacist position (I'm working in independent retail now). I thought the interview went really well and it was with the Assistant pharmacy director. At the end of the interview he said he "looked forward to talking to me soon" for the second round of interviews. I might have made the mistake of thinking this meant I had a second interview?
It's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I have an actual offer pending from a different hospital, but would really prefer this one. I guess I really just want to know if I am still in the running for this position. Otherwise, I'd sign my other offer now. Does anyone have experience with this? Would it hurt my chances with them if I called him back to ask? I'd email...but I don't have an email address. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
