I got 2.5 from my psychology class.. can I still get into dental school?

Hi, I am a freshman of college
My current total GPA is 3.4
I just found out that I got 2.5 from my psychology class..
I feel like I am going to die die die die die

I know it won't look good on the application..
Do I still have chance to get into any dental schools?
I just wanna get into any.

as long as I still have the chance, I am happy.
will U of M accept a student with 2.5 from one class.
just one class... maybe two..
but I will pull my GPA up during my sophomore and junior year.
I am so worried, any advice? Thank you so much in advance

relax, its not gonna sink ya, especially since its a psych class, just move on and have the determination to do well in your upcoming classes.

I don't know what a 2.5 is (I'm assuming a C), but it's not going to hold you back by itself. Especially one or two during your freshman year. Try not to get anymore.

Relax. I have like 3 "2.5"s on my transcript and I was accepted to my first and second choice school. And i'm assuming that's a C. Get A's in the majority of your classes and you'll be just fine. You don't have to be a robot to get into school. I actually got one of my C's in psych. It's psych, not science. Who cares?

I got a .93 my first semester...and have several F's on my transcript...

I got into my first choice school...and a few others...

umm....my school has gpa system instead of letter grade system.
2.5-2.8 corresponds to B-.
I've seen a lot of people get into d-school with lots of C's

I got a 2.5 in Gen Chem. 1 and did well after that, and got into plenty of schools. Do well from here on and don't worry about it.

It's your overall, cummulative GPA that is considered. One class in and of itself is just a part of the whole. Stay calm.
