We have venders coming in next week, But I want to know what loupes you guys use and why you picked them.

reason I ask is because im not really sure what to look for in them.

If you dont mind me asking, Can you please add approximate cost?

Design for vision- look into the steam frame. Very lightweight. I have the 3.5x with a lumadent light

I have an orascoptic 4.3x with a lumadent light. 1600 for the loupes and 420 for the light. I dunno if I should have gone with the higher mag (4.8x) or not. We'll see.

Most of my classmates went with 2.0x but I think you can't see much improvement. I wanted to minimize my neck strain and being able to see miniscule details more easily helps with posture so I went with higher magnification loupes. Of the vendors, orascoptic has pretty good quality loupes. I really wish that Zeiss was there since optically, they are the best (and most expensive) on the market.

Tried them all.

Orascoptic and Designs for Vision are the best, by far, IMO.
