Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a PGY II resident with a concentration in Implantology leading to a PGY III year Implantology Fellow. This is for the upcoming academic year starting July 1, 2013. This is a two year, paid full time fellowship that is recognized by the AAID. The program is heavily OMFS focused with a strong emphasis on complex bone grafting, sinus lifts, symphysis/ramus grafts and socket preservation. There is also advanced training in implant prosthodontics and treatment planning as part of the curriculum. Fellows train in IV sedation leading to certification. The didactic portion of the program includes weekly grand rounds with OMFS and weekly attendance at Columbia University. There is only one position available. Applicants must have completed a one year GPR to apply. Applicants should have strong board scores, high class ranking and three letters of recommendation.
