Honestly, I feel exposure to medicine is crucial. You would already be very late in the cycle of you submitted your primary right now. Even if you have your reasons for wanting to be a doctor, they need to know that you are aware what a doctor actually does in their job. Spend the next 8 months getting as much exposure as you can and apply for next cycle. I would get as much experience working directly with patients as you possibly can, because as someone with autism this aspect of medicine could be a challenge.
