The MCAT is scored on percentile meaning the score you get is based on what amount of people you scored better than like percentile. In order to get certain percentile what % of questions one need to get right? Also how much do practice books help with studying for test? When it comes to getting concepts needed to get questions right?

This is for the old MCAT. The new MCAT has never released a rubric that breaks down raw number correct -> scaled score conversion like they used to with the old practice tests.

A set of MCAT prep books is an absolute must for studying, there is no better alternative
