The MSAR tells us how many applied, were interviewed, deferred, and matriculated. Why doesn't it tell us how many were accepted? And why don't the usnews.com and MSAR statistics for the same entering class match most of the time? i don't mean to sound whiny b/c together these two sources do indeed give us a general idea of school selectivity, but it's just a bit annoying when the stats conflict (sometimes in a big way) and the source we ough to trust more (the MSAR) doesn't even give us one of the most important numbers (# accepted).

You're looking to see how much waitlist movement there is at a particular school for a particular cycle? Otherwise I'm not sure why it's useful to know that school X with 100 seats offers 250 acceptances before the class is filled.
