Informal Post Bacc at Cal State?

Hey Guys,
I was wondering for those who have taken an informal post bacc by taking upper division science classes at a Cal State, have you gotten into dental school after taking that route and how did you register? Did you register online? or call the administrators and tell them about you taking classes and paying by units, as an "informal student"?
