Internal Medicine Fellowship Timeline 2016

I was wondering if anyone else was concerned with the IM fellowship timeline this year. Match opens up August 31st, and ROL are due by Nov 16th. It seems like a very compressed interview cycle compared to past years. I think last year it opened up early July. Anyone else worried about scheduling interviews? I'm assuming there will be less interview date options, and there will be more overlap interview dates between programs.

That's the NRMP timeline, not the ERAS timeline, which is what you're thinking about opening in July.

Remember...2 separate systems. The 8/31 thing is when you can register for the Match, not when you can start applying.
