I'm an international student (not Canadian) applying this cycle, and am really conflicted about my school list (struggling between mostly MD/PhD or mostly MD). I have a 4.0 GPA, 38 MCAT.
Research: 1.5 years, currently summer fellowship, will have senior honors thesis next year
Shadowing: 200+ hours total in internal medicine, ER, neurosurgery
Volunteering: regular tutoring every week, organized community service events, service organization, alternative breaks
Clubs: student government, president of a premed club
Others: piano
