Does anyone know if FP programs typically cover or partially cover the cost of travel/lodging/etc for interviewing applicants?

Some do. I'm interviewing in FP programs in Texas, and I believe two programs are paying for lodging, and one is reimbursing $200 for travel/lodging expenses. It may depend on what kind of candidate you are, and how well they think you will fit their program.
