After submitting your application for optometry school, and you get an interview.. how does that all work? Especially for out of state applicants?
UC Berkeley does interviews in late January, and I'm just worried since I will still be taking a biochemistry course during that time and afraid I won't be able to have time to go to my interview.
It is the second biochemistry course in the series, and is not offer every quarter at my school.

So I guess my main questions are,
How much time do they give you to schedule your interview date?
Are they available to do on the weekends?
If you could share what experience you had with this, that would be great :)

You can certainly fly out at night and fly back after your interview, only occupying 1 day of missed school. Usually most undergrad classes understand that things come up in life and that is usually why most instructors allow in their grading to drop the lowest exam score to make up for busy schedules interfering with class performance, and that you'd make up the material by the time of the final.
