I'll preface this post with this: I know letters of intent are not that useful, but this school (Case) specifically said that if we are put on post-interview hold and they don't hear from us by March, they'll asume we are no longer interested. So obviously they seem receptive to LOIs.
I interviewed in early October and was notified that I was put on post-interview hold in early November. (At Case, post-interview hold is basically the waitlist for the waitlist).
Is now a good time to send a LOI, plus a few pretty insignificant updates (4.0 last semester, completed my senior capstone and did a poster presentation for my research)? Case starts early (first week of July), and I think they form the waitlist around the end of March.
Also, any tips on writing a good letter of intent?
