You probably will not want to live near the hospital. It's in downtown Miami and mostly surrounded by the ghetto. I went to Miami for medical school and most of the residents tended to live on South Beach or Brickell.

i matched pgy-2 at miami... my current colleagues in the program state about 1/3 live in brickell, 1/3 in south beach, 1/3 in the 'burbs. Let me know if anyone wants a roommate in 1 year...LOL just saying.

Living in a brickell high rise sounds awesome, albeit on the expensive side.
