How do the results of students who did private tutoring compare w/ those in a regular class?

    Hi apumic,

While I don't have any official numbers to share with you, I can tell you that the students who choose a private tutoring package for their studies tend to be very satisfied with their scores and see great results when it comes to med school admissions. This is all the result of the personalized attention that they get from their tutor; since each student is already covering the MCAT at large in their normal course work (every private tutoring package includes a complete MCAT course at no additional charge) their one-on-one time allows them to dive deeper into the individual problems that are preventing them from attaining a top-tier score. Whether those problems be rooted in content knowledge (not understanding a given scientific concept), critical thinking skills (like pacing and strategy), or confidence (knowing what to expect on test day), a private tutor helps to not only identify the unique problems but also to correct them.

You didn't mention the number of tutoring hours included in the cost. Is it unlimited private tutoring? Exactly how many hours of private tutoring do you get? And if we don't like the tutor is it easy to switch to a different one?

    Hi Swagster :hello:

    Check out this link: http://www.kaptest.com/MCAT/Prep-for-the-MCAT/One-On-One/mcat-private-tutoring.html
and enter your zip code to see the tutoring options and prices

[And how cool would unlimited private tutoring be? We could just camp out in your yard...but then you'd have to feed us because tutors get really hungry after talking about all those MCAT strategies ;) ]

We offer 15-hour, 25-hour, and 35-hour packages...all of which come with an automatic registration in an Anywhere or On Site course! (No extra $$!)

You can switch to a new tutor whenever you like, but you're going to get an awesome instructor the first time around because you can tell our customer service reps at 1-800-KAPTEST exactly what kind of tutor you want - based on your preferences, study habits, weaknesses/strengths, past MCAT experience, target score, etc. How awesome is that??
