Been seeing more lawyers at their request lately to comment on MVA cases, work comp cases, etc.
I find the experience is sometimes more trouble than it's worth as far as billing, chart review, anxiety, my words being twisted (I've found they are good with twisting my words to fit their agenda), but what do you all think?
Are we as physicians obligated to speak to them? I'm tempted to say, "It's in the note".
I'm pretty new at this. So any commentary is appreciated. Is this just part of the job, or can you limit how much interaction you have with them?
