Lecture/Lab Credit Hours?

I went to a semester system university. In a combined lecture/lab 4 unit course, how many credit hours are for the lab and how many for the lecture? The GWU secondary asks to list lab and lecture with hours earned and im not certain if I put 4 units in both.

Typically, lab is only one credit in this situation. The general rule is to count only "instructional" hours as lab, so it's the lab prep lecture that gets counted.
