Hey guys. Please list your PM&R residency interview invites here. I'm still waiting for my LORs, so no invites yet.

I knew it was only a matter of time before this thread got under way... yet another thread I will be forced to check as though I'm OCD (ie. board scores threads)! ;) ANyway, did some research last night and found that last year (2006 match), it seems, people began getting invites late Sept - Early Oct... later than a lot of the other specialties... this, of course, might be different for us. Guess we'll see. EIther way, this will be a good thread to have. Thanks.

hey guys, congrats! I didn't get the bulk of my pm&r invites last year until around mid-October so don't worry if they don't seem to be trickling in fast enough this month :confused: might as well get the suit dry cleaned while your waiting around :laugh:

Got my first invite today from Nassau. Still waiting to hear from the other 74.
 
Got my first interview invite today. Nassau University Medical Center.
No transcript or MSPE or LORs yet. I'm so excited.:D
 
I'm so glad that more places have started sending invites. For a while there, this list was just me and fozzy saying "me too". Congrats to everyone on their invites thus far. I got one from JFK today.

JFK called you without any email or ERAS message?
 
Yeah, weird hunh. Temple was by phone too but the lady said it was because her e-mail was not working that day.
 
Thomas Jefferson today via email! Well, at least I can now rank something! ;) Whew!
 
Heard from Emory today... no dice. :( Oh well... good to get rejections too, so I'm not left wondering. 50/50 so far, I'd be happy to stay that way! :)
 
...the notification was via email. I know the people who have private messaged me are doing it out of sympathy, but don't worry, I'll be ok! :) It's one rejection and I'm sure there will be at least one or two more... this is a very important stepping stone of our careers, but my life (amazingly enough) doesn't revolve around this one rejection. Still smiling and excited for that sun rising again tomorrow! :) Ok, just thought I'd throw that in there. Done with my rant now :D

Does anyone know about this program? I just applied to it because someone mentioned it a few months ago in passing. Good/bad?? Looks like a good facility, that is all I know.
 
heard from Mt Sinai today by email and Temple by email today, w/o any LOR's yet, submitted ERAS on Sept 16th
 
Via email today heard from U of Indiana saying they will be contacting me again to set up an interview when they have determined their dates for interviews... not sure exactly what this means, but it sounded like an invite of sorts... anyone else get this one? the coordinator addressed me by name.
