Listed an Activity as "ongoing", but now I want to quit. Will this look bad?

Hey Sdn,

So I have been a hospital volunteer for about 1.25 years now, and I think I've topped out the experience I will get (and I fulfilled my obligation by staying past 1 year). I listed this activity as ongoing in my primary application, but now I would like to quit and seek other volunteering options with the underserved. Will this look bad to medical schools?

I will have to send an update letter right?

Possibly keep doing it as you apply for other spots. Once you get a new spot, quit the old volunteering position. Then state in update letters (if the letters are even necessary, that you are working at a new place).

If you really don't like the volunteering job, just quit. I don't think it's a big deal. Just know sometimes it takes a while to find a new position/for you to go through all the HR things
