Masters route to practice-oriented PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology

Hello,

I am a recent graduate, and I was wondering what you guys think would be the best options for someone looking to get a masters before a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psych. I want to get a masters to have more clinical and research experience. Also, I would like to learn some more about the subject area before committing to a 5+ year program. What masters degrees/programs would be most appropriate? Lastly, my main areas of interest are depression, mood disorders, couples/marital/family systems, coping, substance abuse...among others.
