One book says maxillary molars have 3 major cusps; another says maxillary 1st molar has 4 cusps (2 buccal & 2 lingual) plus a 5th minor cusp (cusp of Carabelli). How many major and minor cusps do they have?!!!!!!

I would reckon that the major would be both buccal cusps, and the mesiolingual. The minor would be the distolingual and the cusp of Carabelli.
