Dear SDN,

I plan on taking the MCAT in Spring of 2016 and wish to kindly ask for your assistance in selecting test prep material.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort! I deeply appreciate all the wonderful posts on this forum.

Should additional background information be needed, please feel free to let me know.

Relevant Undergraduate Coursework:

One year of biology
One year of general chemistry
One year of organic chemistry
One year of physics (algebra based)
One year of biochemistry
Sociology (at community college a while ago)
Psychology (at community college a while ago)

Areas of Greatest Weakness:

Physics (my professor was great but not rigorous enough)
Sociology and psychology (both classes were taken a long time ago)
CARS (little familiarity with MCAT-style CARS questions).

Books and Materials Currently Under Consideration:

The Berkeley Review:
--The entire set of books for biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics.
--Should I also purchase the three CBTs?

Official MCAT Practice Tests:

--Full-length Exam: https://members.aamc.org/eweb/Dynam..._prd_key=A989862D-11E9-40C2-B745-9DF7FB4D269B

--MCAT Question Pack: https://members.aamc.org/eweb/Dynam..._prd_key=1D9F6B43-336B-4D27-BF87-42B8309DAF4E

Material Still Needed:

--Review material for CARS/verbal reasoning.
--Review material for psychology/sociology.
--Any additional physics review material if TBR is insufficient.

Hi All!

I've been going through the forums and have put together a study package.

Any and all feedback on the list below is appreciated!

Biology: EK Bio Review for content. TBR Bio for as-needed review and passages.

General Chemistry: TBR Gen Chem.

Organic Chemistry: TBR O-Chem.

Physics (this is the subject I need greatest help with): TPR MCAT 2015 Physics and Math Review for content. TBR Physics for passages.

Should I also add Nova physics to the list? Or would TBR Physics be sufficient for both content review and practice?

Verbal: TPR Hyperlearning Verbal Workbook and EK 101 Passages.

Sociology/Psychology: TPR 2015 Sociology/Psychology review (or EK Psyc/Soc book instead of TPR) and Khan Academy videos. Cross-reference with AAMC's topic list for this section to make sure all bases are covered.
