I thought I was a good applicant until I started seeing that an unbalanced MCAT score is a turnoff for some schools. Also, my EC and clinical experience is not too extensive.

Illinois resident
160 Hours of paid EMT work
100 hours hospital volunteering
25 hours shadowing
Leadership position
110 hours of community service
1 year of independent research for academic credit
~300 hours of non medical work experience
Writing tutor
Some other unique ECs.

Where do I have a good chance? or should I just focus more on DO schools?

You actually have a good chance for a MD acceptance since you have a very good GPA and a good MCAT. These are schools where you have a chance for an interview with your stat:
Your Illinois state schools
Loyola
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
St. Louis
Creighton
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Tulane
Vermont
Quinnipiac
New York Medical College
Albany
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
GW
Georgetown
Eastern Virginia
Virginia Commonwealth.
If you are applying this cycle you need to apply before the end of July and submit all your secondaries by late August.

125 CARS (62 percentile) is actually in the 9 VR range on the old scale, so you would be fine at the majority of MD schools anyway.

Thanks a lot guys! This really helps and is motivating, hopefully I can get my secondaries in my the end of august
