Hey SDN. Long time lurker here hoping to get some advice about certain components of MCAT preparation.

I am planning to take the August 2012 MCAT and I'm just looking for feedback or answers for some questions about my setup/strategy.

I will be taking a MCAT Prep course and supplementing it with TBR/EK. I will begin mid may and continue through mid July, which is ~2 months of solid preparation (duration of course). Is this enough? I may be volunteering once a week during the summer so I will be able to spend a lot of time preparing for MCAT.

Should I start reviewing TBR content before the prep course begins? I consider myself rusty in the prereqs.

What are some strategies you all find effective when doing content review? Is if effective to take notes after each chapter? I can not seem to remember what I learned a few days after reading a chapter without referring back to notes.
