MCAT from 2012, will it be good for next cycle (2016 admission)?

Is it common to find schools only accepting MCAT scores from three years ago?

I'm not in a good position, since I haven't submitted my application for this cycle and I feel that it's too late in the cycle to do so with any effect.

It's been a long time since I've taken my first year science courses and a re-write would be treacherous. I currently have a 32Q from May 2012.

Thoughts guys?

The 3 year rule is by far the most prevalent.

I know how you feel, I just had to retake my score from 2011. one of the worst experiences of my life. better start studying.

This was your last year to apply, I'd start studying for a retake.
