Hello Everyone,

Maybe a little late in the game, maybe everyone else figured this out already, but I am taking the MCCQE I on Monday and I asked a question of the mcc about the CDM questions where it says "select up to (x) responses" . I wasn't sure if we would be penalized for selecting up to (x) responses if there were (x-1) correct answers they were looking for.

Here is their response:

"You are not penalized for giving a wrong answer. If the question asks for 4 answers and you list 3 correct and 1 incorrect, the 4th answer is simply disregarded, no points are deducted. However, if 4 answers are asked for and you select 5, you will be given a score of 0 even though 3 out of the 5 were correct."

This clarified it for me, hope it helps someone else.

Good luck to everyone yet to take the exam, congratulations to everyone who is already finished (I'm jealous of you but will be there soon).
