Medicare payments dropping 22% on April 1?

Per the ASIPP fee schedule sheets, attached.

The CY 2015 PFS CF for January 1, 2015 through March 31, 2015 is $35.8013. The CY 2015 PFS CF for April 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 is $28.2239.

This is a 22% pay cut.

Is this still happening or will it be delayed? If so, I think I'll have to opt out of Medicare. Already loose money on these poor folks in many cases.

I assume this will be averted last minute, as usual. If it sticks, then yes I will also drop Medicare.

And why the heck are reimbursement rates being cut? They should be increased.... at least keep up with inflation.
