Hang in there! There was a big acceptance group today and we ought to see a continued trickle down effect (I believe I learned that word on this board lol) - but there is still a month!

Yea your right! I am staying positive and praying. I interviewed with you on Feb 25 so I am happy for you man!

Hey - I already talked to someone from the top 10% list that was not on SDN - I am not in admissions, so I don't know for sure, bit it seems that a lot of the top 10% (at least half) have been accepted. If I HAD to guess how many people were on it from the beginning I'd say around 20-30 (they interviewed later this year so who knows what effect that had on the waitlist numbers. Please don't take what I just said as law because I am not in admissions lolol.
 
Hey All! I posted in the regular thread yesterday but thought I should post here as well that I got in off the 10% wait list yesterday. I also received a merit scholarship which was a huge surprise. Hang in there everyone, movement is still happening!

Long time lurker, decided to get an account to help cope with the anxiety lol.
 
I talked to a couple of people on the FB group that were on the top 10% list and were accepted during the week (The person I am thinking of was accepted on Tuesday), but did not post anything on here.

Feeling an incredible amount of anxiety this evening. The wait is wearing on me. To those who have been waiting months before I have, I applaud you. Definitely feeling like I should be preparing to move to Nashville in a few weeks but am feeling so overwhelmed that I don't know where to start. I just want to know for sure if I am going to get accepted. Can't wait until this feeling is over...

I know how you feel aspiringdoc, the wait is killing me too but lets pray from some good news soon!
 
Has anybody received any offers to other medical schools? If so, are you planning to switch if accepted at Meharry?
 
I hope at least half of us will hear a good news in the next couple days. I feel it's coming...

Don't worry!!! We still have a great buddy (premed8888) in that fb group. I am sure he will update us with any info he thinks we want to know (someone got accepted or declined a spot etc...). I hope we can officially join this fb group tomorrow.

The wait is killing me...probably driving my family crazy the amount of times I say "I hope Meharry accepts me!" every day!! lol

Congrats Addiekm07. I'm not sure how the waitlist movement is gonna be the next 4 weeks so I think ill starts studying for Mcat just in case. For the rest of us in the top 10 lets pray there's a lot I movement these next few weeks.
 
Got an unexpected call from Meharry yesterday evening...I got accepted!!!! SO happy and excited!!!

Do they still accept LOIs? and for those who have been recently accepted did you guys send LOIs? By the way, is it too late to send one?

I sent mine a week ago and was accepted yesterday. Not sure if they are still accepting LOI but you have nothing to lose to send it. I don't think it is too late. We have more than 3 weeks to go. Good luck.
